Muharraq Governorate is one of the five governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain. It is the second smallest governorate after the capital, although it is the most important population and historical governorate in the Kingdom. The governorate is located to the northeast of the Capital Governorate, and it is the only governorate that is attached to it, and actually it is not attached to it, but because the governorate includes Muharraq Island, it is connected to the capital with bridges, which are the bridges of Sheikh Hamad, Sheikh Isa bin Salman, and Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman.
